Blockchain Governance Overview

Abstract:

As stated previously, the governance model of a blockchain is inextricably correlated with its success. As such, it has been a priority of CasperLabs to focus on the development, implementation, failures, and successes of the governance models of the predominant blockchains in the space. In doing so, CasperLabs can proceed to create a governance model that learns from the mistakes of its predecessors, while still being true to the community.

The following research provides a general overview of blockchain governance. It will evaluate the opinions of leading experts in blockchain governance and describe the current governance models operating in the space.
